Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Wellbean mobile application ("App"), operated by Wellbean LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Wellbean is a personal wellness companion that helps users track nutrition, fitness, hydration, fasting, daily planning, and faith-based activities. Key features include:
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are operated by users who do not meet the eligibility requirements.

Wellbean offers a free tier with limited AI usage (100 AI interactions and 100 photo recognitions per month) and a premium subscription ("Wellbean Premium") with expanded access. Premium plans include:
Prices are in U.S. dollars and may vary by region. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time; existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect on their next renewal.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. By subscribing, you acknowledge and agree that:
Because all transactions are processed by Apple, refund requests must be directed to Apple, not to Wellbean. You may request a refund through Apple's "Report a Problem" page at https://reportaproblem.apple.com or by contacting Apple Support. Wellbean has no ability to issue refunds for App Store transactions. Apple's refund policies apply in full.
Wellbean is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice.
The App provides general wellness tools for personal tracking of nutrition, fitness, hydration, fasting, and related activities. The information and features provided by the App, including nutrition scores, fitness scores, wellness scores, calorie and macro estimates, and daily insights, are intended for informational and educational purposes only.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that:
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Do not rely on the App for medical emergencies.
Wellbean uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, including Google Gemini, FatSecret image recognition, ElevenLabs text-to-speech, and Apple's speech recognition framework, to power various features.
You acknowledge and agree that:
Wellbean includes optional faith-based features such as a Bible reader, verse of the day, morning prayer guide, prayer requests, gratitude journal, and acts of kindness challenges.
By using the App, you agree that you will not:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.
The following data is stored both locally and synced to our servers to enable cross-device access and backup: account profile (name, goals, preferences, avatar), food log entries and nutrition data, fitness activities and workout records, sleep entries, tasks and calendar events, habits and habit entries, water, coffee, and alcohol intake, fasting windows, wellness scores, personal contacts, AI usage logs, and support tickets and attachments.
The following data is stored exclusively on your device and is never transmitted to our servers: prayer requests, gratitude journal entries, acts of kindness entries, morning prayer entries, Bible reading history and reflections, and cached favorite and recent foods.
You may request deletion of your account and all associated server-side data at any time through the App's account management settings. This will permanently remove your profile, all synced data, and uploaded files from our servers. Locally-stored faith data is deleted when you uninstall the App.
Wellbean reads workout, active energy, step count, sleep, and heart rate data from Apple HealthKit (with your permission) and writes workout data back to HealthKit. HealthKit data is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. HealthKit data is used solely to display fitness and sleep information within the App and to calculate wellness scores. HealthKit data is not stored on our servers; it is accessed in real time from the HealthKit store on your device.
The App integrates with third-party services to provide its functionality. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies, including but not limited to: Apple App Store (distribution, billing, subscriptions), Supabase (authentication, database, file storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), Google Gemini (AI features), FatSecret (food search and image recognition), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), Apple HealthKit (health and fitness data), Apple EventKit (calendar integration), Google Calendar API (calendar sync), and Microsoft Graph API (Outlook calendar sync).
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. If any third-party service becomes unavailable or changes its terms, certain App features may be affected or discontinued.
All content, design, code, graphics, logos, and trademarks within the App are the property of Wellbean LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
The Bible text included in the App (World English Bible) is in the public domain.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to: merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement; that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or harmful components; and that any data, content, or information provided through the App (including AI-generated content, nutritional data, and wellness scores) will be accurate, reliable, or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Wellbean LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to: loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill; personal injury or health complications arising from reliance on App content, AI-generated information, or wellness recommendations; damages arising from inaccurate nutritional data, AI hallucinations, or misidentified foods; and damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars ($50.00), whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Wellbean LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party, and any content or data you submit through the App.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination: your right to use the App ceases immediately; we may delete your account data in accordance with our data retention policies; and provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive (including Sections 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, and 16).
You may delete your account at any time through the App's account management settings.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), except that either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver: You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis only, and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Wellbean LLC regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
